Acursed time limit
Acursed time limit
Is there a way to get rid of the time limit?
I just find there isnt enough time to everyone or complete a race. I suppose you could just say "Well, you just suck. Dont blame time." And in that you are right. But i'm lame and want things easy .
So.. Any help on this matter?
I've tried the "addPowerUpTimer Frozen!" cheat and it didnt work..

Cheats fully explained here: http://tb.polygonized.com/dtd/tdr_cheats.shtml
The correct sequence would be to enable cheats first by typing "hereComesTrouble" (without quotes) and then "addPowerUp Timer Frozen!" (again, without quotes).

Yeah make sure you do the hereComesTrouble bit. But hit the tilde key (right under the escape key) then type it. And make sure there is a space between Up and Timer, so it's addPowerUp Timer frozen!. That should work.
Re: Acursed time limit
Here is a way to incrase the sec that you recive every time you hit a ped.
first: Do a security copy of the file CARMA.pak
step 1)download packrat2 and open the CARMA.pak file with it.
step 2)extract all the files in any folder.
step 3)open the difficulty.txt file and write in the PED_time line something like this
PED_TIME 30 20 15 , and save.
step 4)create a new pak file with packrat2 (select the CARMA.pak file) and add all the files that you extracted.(if packrat question to you if remplace the files in the pak , clic on yes)
step 5)close all and go play carmageddon TDR, now every time you hit a ped the game gives to you 20 or 15 sec more.

Or you could just run over peds and smash opponents -- if you have to worry about the timer, you're not playing it right.

Thank you all for your replies.
It worked (the cheat). The site where i originally got the cheats didnt put a space between PowerUp and Timer Frozen!
moving away from the topic at hand; has anyone managed to get the NoseBleed add on working in harmony with TDR?
