This quite often happens when the patch doesnt overwrite a file it needs to update, this is due to the file being used by windows and the installer just skips past it.

The way i fixed this was to completely uninstall tdr and delete any left over files and registry entries, restarted my computer and installed again.

The file that doesnt get updated is often options.txt but the actual file for you can be any number of files.

You could also try installing tdr, the blood patch and then the upgrade patch. (the blood patch asks to overwrite options.txt but i cant remember if you have to choose yes or no, one works, one doesnt)

Both the blood patch and the upgrade patch wants to overwrite the "options.txt". The only thing the blood patch change is the country code. From UK zombie to UK)

That could be changed afterwards manually without problems.

So I use the options.txt from the upgrade patch when I'm upgrading with both of them, then change

the contry code from 1 to 0 later.

Hy.

I've got a similar problem and i've managed to fix it.

Here's what was the problem :

- after installing the Nosebleed patch, there was a file called "powerups_internal.txt" in the Assets folder. This file didn't contain the strings needed by the upgrade.

To fix it, i've copied the file "Assets\strings\uk\powerupstrings_uk.txt" (or something like that) to "assets\powerups_internal.txt", after that the game worked like a charm. Just make shore the new TXT file contains the strings for the upgrade too.

Hope this helps.
