C3 cheats

i am playing tdr (offline) how do i get that damn timer to stop?!

a cheat is what i used on c2 and i enjoied playing, i am going mad trying to beat that damn timer!!!

any hints could help too!!!

bring down the console with §, ' or whatever button that works. Write "hereComesTrouble", then write "addPowerUp timer frozen!"

Both "hereComesTrouble" and "addPowerUp" command is case sensitive. But the rest ("timer frozen!" for example) isn't.

looking for button...where is it by? 1? so you are saying the timer wont be froze?(scratching head)

I press the button below Escape, above Tab, to the left of the "1" - the ½/§ key.

The timer will freeze. No problem with that. Just make sure you write it exactly as I did, but without the "-things

Yeah, there is 1 more I like. After you've activated the whole cheat thing with "hereComesTrouble", then write "adventure"

or just write "addPowerUp" and whatever powerup after

Examples:

addPowerUp afterburner!

addPowerUp wall climber!

addPowerUp lead foot

note: almost no cheats will work on network mode namely because you cant activate the hereComesTrouble .. thought I believe you can use the following

almost_wasted

wasted

nextlevel

and maybe a few more

also, if you hate typing here are two things you can do, each time you enter in a cheat press UP and the cheat will reappear already typed out, now just keep pressing up and enter ... pretty soon you will have your stuff unlimited ... if that doesnt work for you ... just edit the strings and rename the powerups, just make sure you edit the correct strings for your version.

Here's a text file with almost all (if not all of them) the cheat codes for TDR, it even has some whose function is not clear or known (so you can experiment with them).

I've tried the time limit deactivation in both ways, but I can't too . I think it depends on the version, cause mine is the spanish one. So, I use to play on the training mode, where I can customize the game settings, like adding more cop cars or, of course, turning the timer off.

The funniest cheat for me is makeai (car name) . With it you can enter more cars than the 6 you have at the beginning of the race .

There's also a Text adventure mini-game, which resembles the first adventure games made for computers, which runs by descriptions and the orders you type. This is curious...

It should work, the tiem deactivation, you did use the frozen timer power up right? if so it should definately work.
