Sure. It's no problem at all. But, it wont look good in the game, because NFS cars usually don't have what it takes to detach parts. So that needs to be done with some modeling. Or else the car will be plain boring to drive.

well, I figured there would be a trick to it ... but it is probly easier to convert a tdr car to nfs then.

Actually, you can't convert a TDR car to NFS. The problem is that you can't open the mesh in the *.pak file to us it for something else.
But as for NFS models. get the mesh into zModeler and export it as *.3DS. Then open it in Max and do whatever needed. Re-map it or just apply the texture, do the setup and then your set.
But As I said. Plain NFS converts are NOT fun to drive!
No, zModeler can't edit TDR cars. It could perhaps be done if the guy behind the program would take some time to check out the TDR mesh format.

no, I was just interested because there are some neat nfs3 cars on nfscars (shit webistte thats so freaking strict you can barely breathe) yeah, thats all Tony, thanks
