TDR doesnt work anymore :(((

TDR2000 worked until i got a few downloaded cars and tried to get them to work by adding the txt to descriptor.txt and stuff. then i tried the nocd patch, then the nosebleed patch and the bloodpatch. the patches screwed it i think. So i reinstal the game but it still wont work especialy with nosebleed patch.

It just shows an error: Application Exception: Couldn't find assets\strings\UK\pregame_UK.txt ???

i have windows ME with the UK zombie version of game.

Please advise what can i do?

After uninstalling the game did you delete the TDR folder and everything in it? You can save the downloads, but make sure all the other data folders and whatever are gone.

yeah i did delete all the folder contents. but ill try reinstallling again and in the order toshiba says.

I use the nosebleed patch first, then the blood, last I overwrite the orginal exe with the nocd one. Think I don't overwrite that options.txt when installing the bloodpatch. Just open it myself and change the number to human peds..

Have always worked for me earlier.

Nah, don't think it does. Just that "options"-file that can mess stuff up after the bloodpatch I think. THats been the problem when it's not been working for me.

Look up COUNTRY, that needs the be changed. I have already that "0" after it, a fresh installation from a UKZombie will have "1" instead of "0" written. After the bloodpatch that number has changed. But the Nosebleedpatch also come with an newer Options-file, thats why I use that one and change the number by myself

ok stop being sick :P I tried installing in this order:

1.uk bloodpatch

2.nosebleed

3.nocd patch

it worked after the bloodpatch but then after installing the NOSEBLEED PACHT(overwrite options.txt) it said insert correct CDrom so i installed the nocdcrack and i still got an error while the game was loading after the game startmenu...(something about line 126 in powerup_UK.txt ?????)

Im thinking im not gonna bother with the nosebleed patch. I would like to play online but i think i need the nosebleed?

I want to try some of the downloaded cars but when i tried to use them before the patches i got a similar error mesage as the game was starting.

This is like mission impossible! im about to GIVE UP! please anymore ideas for me?

thats a kind offer, thanks toshiba, I have not yet retried installing the nosebleed or any cars, this is my main aim for installing the patches.

Is there any cars that i can try without the patches?

DO i need the nosebleed to use a downloaded car? Will a mini patch let me use cars?

which is a good car to instal that is a realistic type car. i followed the tutourial on planetmain website but i installed about 6 at one time and think i might have done it wrong...

order for patch install:

1. nosebleed patch(uk)/mini patch(us)

2. uk blood patch(UK ONLY)

3. CD Crack(if needed)

You'll find that most of the addon cars availible are only comptatable with the patched version of tdr. there wernt many cars around before the patch was released.

to specify wich patch the cars need... is the Nose bleed... it adds some systems to the game that many cars need to work

i extracted the files and overwrite all on. (i copied the game into a new folder and patched this copy of TDR incase it screwed the game). And sure enough it had the same error message when loading race. looks like im back to square one thanks for trying toshiba'

The files included applications for automatic updating but i had never seen these files after using the nosebleed patch i have, what patch did u include toshiba?

i will try installing patches in the order you suggest dark angel.

im giving up patching for now im playing new starsky and hutch game i got tonight.:)
