All those effects apart from lens dirt and sharpen are already in the game. Most of them are turned down because everyone complained that no one liked post process effects. Chromatic aberration was turned off entirely because of such complaints. It's a bit amusing that now people are using external software to add the effects on top of what the game's already doing. You can change the post processing profiles of the levels to make the effects more prominent, here's some examples of haphazardly turning shit on and altering values in Outskirt's post process profile:

(Click for full 5k goodness)

Not sure how to approach lens dirt in the game properly but I find running a sharpen filter over it a bit pointless given the fact the scene is also being heavily blurred from DoF, bloom, Chromatic Abberation and motion blur, it kind of counters the effect.

yeah most of the effects are in game, ( didint know about CA) i cant tweak them, at least yet, hehe and with a reshader i can tweakthem to my liking

wich i do in most games i install, even if its just to use its own Smaa hehehe I think its clear iam not a modder :)

But i Will try to take a look at those post process profile files and tweak that instead.thanks

those screenshots are great! although thats in replay mode yes?

the DOF effect per example it only in very close distances, it rly only pops-out wen using the replay mode, in game you cant notice at all. Wich I understand! Some people dont want to see the road blurred in distance. They maybe feel they are drunkdriving, but im my case i kinda like it, I can still drive n do battles perfectly :) the lens dirt looks kinda cool in softer settings, tried NOT to make it super cheesy.

Meanwhile added new comparison shots, they are with the game's "standart" cameras, i just used the replay mode to remove Hud:)

The post process files are dead easy to edit, just use Minge to extract the game and decompile the scripts, go into the post process folder of the level you want to change the profile of and fiddle with the values, use Minge to launch the game with ZADs disabled and bob's your uncle. There's lots of stuff to play with and you get all the effects effectively for free as the game is already doing them. It can't be any more complicated than messing with values in sweetfx.

I only used replay mode to get good shots rather than trying to take shots while driving around. The effects are just as visible in gameplay as in replay mode. For example

And some more as links:

You can tweak the DoF values just like any of the other values, with a combination of them and the various other blur settings and chrome-ab you can make things very blurry:

Makes me wonder why it wasn't added as an option in the visual settings to be honest :s

Or maybe to boost the performance to the max... When you add an option there is always an asshole with a low end PC that try to run the game at max setting ... And to complain how bad the game run on his machine.

thnks for the tips there TRENT ill try later tonight fiddling with those settings :) kinda curious

Meanwile added 2 small video previews using this reshade.the video compression ruins the result a bit, but if you look closely you will notice the blurred distance (Dof), a bit like in carma reeincarnation :) wich kinda helps me forget about the bad draw-distance and popping*

In Other News...

Spoiler:

in other news i have been tweaking the postprocess files on each track, adding the cool CA effect (the one from the game) and making a few tweaks to my liking. Still in progress

I have also seem to improved the shadow-quality and most imp the shadowdrawdistance, so you dont see the shadow rendering 2meters in front of you, there were tracks were this was very noticeable like THE LOOP, it became seriously annoying to me.

There are tracks with too much FOG that iam in the process of reducing the FOG effect so you can actuality see were are you going (in full speed) one track in Business district were this was very noticeable, i think it was, CORPORATE PLAZA

Planning to include a few other small easy tweaks like improving the amount of glass particles, spark particles.. and raising the engine volume

i will share this tweaks Soon once i have finished, but on a new thread
