Nothing much to say but RR2000 has been upgraded to v7
It might kinda look similar, but actually it isn't at all! I mean, code-wise.
Also there's no downloader script anymore, better like that, all the downloads work again.
I updated the links/tutorials/files lists a bit and added some more stuff to the carma sections.
this way... https://rr2000.cwaboard.co.uk

Re: RR2000 has been updated
I should stop receiving emails about broken downloads now!
It was about time, half the downloads weren't working since january
The whole site should work better with search engines etc.
Things are well structured now and content is accompanied by text.
Even started an adword campaign heh (had received a 75€ promo code from Google).
I'm liking that link list more and more. I somewhat think it's important to maintain such a list.
From what I understood Pedestrian Precinct used to have one hell of a link list as well.
Can't access it, sadly.
I'll soon update link/file/tutorial lists here at CWA too.
If you ever stumble upon a site or tutorial that isn't included in the lists,
it's your duty to let me know about it :]
Re: RR2000 has been updated
Do you think its worth using something like HTTrack to download those sites that are available via the 'way back then machine' and for us to host them as a community ?

N3wton, it might be woth it indeed but it'd be a huge task to make that properly :(
Sometimes images only shows up on a specific capture date. Or some less visited pages are shared between several captures.
It might be worth it anyway because now and then, it seems the captures become unavailable. Often because a robots.txt file was added afterward.
It was the case with Planet Maim: at first the link pointed to a capture of the late www.planetmaim.com url. And lately I had to revert back the pm.polygonized.com era. etc.
