i'm in a "project" trying to convert all carmageddon 2 models into the Source engine for using it in garrysmod
the only problem that i have is importing models to 3ds max
tried all of the tools here but all of them are incompatible with win7
searched all google and only found 3d object converter, opened eagle3_mk2.ASC, and it works!
the only problem is that i need a license to export it to .3ds
any help would be good ;)

I guess that once you've got the whole thing in MAX, it's just a matter of setup before playing with it in Garry's mod?

I have all the models converted to .SMD
now i have to put them in Studio Compiler and compile them to source engine

[wip+help]Carma2 to Source conversion
Hi, I'm trying to import some C2 cars into 3D Studio Max to make some scenes.
I've got the .DAT geometry imported in via 3dsMax2_for_C2 from the tools page.
I've also got the PIXIES file separated out into individual files and converted them to PNGs.
The only hurdle left is to map the PNGs to the model.
I suppose I could do this by hand, but there must be a better way.
Can anyone help?
