You can quite say Harmalarm started a new old passion i had, Micro Machines.
One finds them childish, one finds them fun and one finds them pretty detailed for such a little cars.
But it has pretty much been the thing to collect alot of them, as their small and convenient.

I now have a couple of Ebay boughts running/sending so i hope there be here soon.

For now, this is what i have:

6 insiders
6 mini's
2 lights
2 private eyes
104 normal cars

heh, all those are great. I had a handful of them too, once. I think I had a Bentley and the 007 Aston Martin, a couple of semis and there was a moon landing set they did with the lunar rover, the apollo capsule and the lunar lander.
I know I have them squirreled away somewhere.

Coffey, i got a whole range of James Bond cars now, check below picture  The DB5 even has that back wall lifting up! :funnyteeth:

I'm very gracious Tosh!

Among it is a "private eye" the 50's Ford with a glass sunroof, some more deluxe cars (the opened doors, hoods and trunks!), big engines, a promo MM jeep, Indiana Jones cars and best of all...Back To The Future cars!

These were handed over when BTTF 2 was in the theaters:

This is a city playset i forgot all about that i had it!!! Found it under my bed searching for another Micro Machines thing..though i didn't yet find that, anyway:

I'll get even more, so be checking!

Wow, TTR, you really got some nice ones now. The back to the futere cars are funny, specially the cop car.

And Oblivion, nice collection too... Freaky how you precicely put up all the cars in neat rows. Bit neurotic eh? :)

I used to have so many Micro Machines, but as I got older and give them to my younger brothers it all gets lost and wrecked eventually, I suppose I could act like an old git now and say "Youngsters these days don't respect common sentimental values" but I won't, oh I just did, nevermind.

That's sort of what I was thinking when I posted the 3D printing thread.
Imagine having your own custom Micro Machine...

@ Harmalarm : I see you have some pink windows etc. You can get the original TIFFs in the templates at The Welsh Way.

I'd like to have them as MicroMachine too !
This picture reminds me of the splashes at the end of C2 demo (with the airplane).

P.S. Sorry for bad quality - I got these shots by my old Nokia 3220...
P.P.S. LOL... From the all collection I had years ago, only six survived - this Mustang, Lamborghini Diablo, Ferrari 348 TB, Porsche 911 Carrera and VW Golf II Cabrio. Yup, youngsters doesn't respect things such as this...

@ R66c; nice mustang, but are ya sure it is a micro machine?

@ Toshiba; yeah, I know about the template section over at Welch Way, but those files miss some of the textures too, for instance the SCRN.tif file, which is the purple texture you're referring to...

It reminded mee of the demo-screen too! First time i saw that shot i was like; 'WOW, Carmgaddon has a jumbojet as a car!!!'. Bit dissapointing to find out it was a drone, but anyhow, the shot is pritty amazing!

Well I'm not so sure... Because it's old 1/43 Corgy Toys model, and I don't know, how to classify this forty-third size - I'm not familiar with the classes of the downsized models...

It's pretty big that you got maybe about 20cm? 1/64 is a hotwheels car which is about 10cm, the micro machines are about 3cm's tall! :uho:
