@Tosh : I don't know, the woman followed the car and bump into it, fly and crashed into the sign ...

en français (parcequ'en anglais j'ai galéré là ) :
En fait, le piéton poursuivait ma voiture. Ils courent plus vite qu'elle, donc il a buté dans le coffre, il s'est envolé et a attéri contre le pont et le panneau de signalisation.

You got the shine on the chrome excactly how I would have imagined it.
I don't think you have lowered it too much, the bumpers, wheels, trim look really great.
Pretty much flawless now, although I know you probably think there is loads more work to be done.

General Lee is done. It's probably one of my best convertions.
It has funks, a lot of grooves (used shear and such to have more realistic suspension mechanics for a change), hood & trunk flap (the doors of the GL are welded shut), smashables, dynamic damages on every car components, cool camera positions, best mastered chrome effect ever ?!, etc.
It also has 21k polys :uho: but so damn worth it... unlike 'something else' yet higher poly~
This had been possible due to Cesm's last changes on ASE2ASC, thanks to him for his quick reaction to my requests.

Sadly you'll have to wait a bit for its public release. Not too much I hope...

Thats just brilliant Tosh, I said about the wheels and that is exactly what I would want them to be.
BTW what game did you convert it from?
I could go on saying about every detail that is good, but I think you know.

Can't wait for the releaseness...

Two can play at that game...! (or, similar sort of "game", if you will)

Although mine ISN'T a conversion (well, the textures are, obviously...but the actual map mesh was made from scratch. Replicating the original map from Doom. Dare I boast and say it is EXACTLY how it is in Doom, down to exact room proportions and/or wall lengths?! AND THAT IT TOOK FAR MORE TIME TO MAKE THAN WHAT WAS PROBABLY WORTHWHILE?!?! heh...although it's purely novelty, not that easy to drive around in, AND the overall scale could probably adjusted a little.

I'll make all the doors, elevators, lifts and secret walls / doors functional eventually.

Yet another test track for /fun/...
It's rather a hard work for my computer than for me (I come every 5min to do 1 click in MAX in order to prepare the scene for C2)... 350,000 tris, very dense geometry and a lot of materials with transparency... totally useless in C2 :uho:

Ah, almost forgot, it's from Anno 1701.

That looks like its going to be cool. Though the RV/bus with the people running along the top looks a tad huge.
