I love zombie stuff. If the rest of the movie is like this trailer, it'll be cool. I like the car door action - "You gotta enjoy the little things" - Heh

Another comedic film about the undead? I think people are running out of ideas for films.

Another rubbish American zombie film with a bunch of teenage idiots and Woody Harrelson (ugh).

Another reason why not to support Hollywood.

Been following this for a bit... not a big fan of the kid, but I do like Woody Harrelson.

I am curious as to the significance of the number 3 on the door of the Hummer and Escalade.

Speaking of which, that's probably the only Escalade I've ever liked... busted out headlight, dents, and a plow heh. Meh, we'll see how it goes but I have a feeling that dink kid will suck the awesome out of it.

Well, I like zombie movies. Even bad ones. I'm sorta like a zombie myself,

needing to devour anything zombie related "Must...have...Brai...er...ZOMBIES!".

Ya, not sure who that kid is, but with Woody in it, I can't help thinking an

alternate title could be "Natural Born Zombie Killers"

Finally checked out the trailer on tv.I say it'a gonna be cool. Woody Harelson is a good actior for the role in that kinda movie.

Also I'm inspired by that Escalade too  New but thrashed vehicles bring the feeling of The Present in this movie.

I know I shouldn't bump threads, but screw you hippies...

I went to see this film in the cinema earlier today (got a free ticket to see it so happy days I thought), and to be honest, it was a bit disappointing. Not enough zombies in it I thought. What it did have, to my disliking, was too much of the 'nerdy guy falls for the hot chick' bollocks, with the usual outcome. It felt like I was watching some generic high-school movie at times, only with the addition of a few zombies.

That said, it did have its moments, such as a women flying out of the windscreen of a car in slow motion!

I enjoyed the movie. The cameo in the middle of the movie was unexpected, but brilliant!

'Shaun Of The Dead' is a better comedy zombie film IMO.

watched it with the GF, amazingly enough I think there was too much plot in the first 40 minutes. not enough gratuitous nudity or crap blowing up.

and what do zombies eat when they can't get people? do they starve waiting for the last 4 hot lunches walking to show up?

and what the heck is up with fast zombies?
If it runs, drives, stops, has a title, AND is under $300, I'll take it!

Another question that has to be asked... who was maintaining the power stations? Hardly the zombies.

If you go onto IMDB forums, alot of people seem to be picking out plot holes in the film.

That said, it's probably a film you need to take at face value.

Yeah, there are some odd choices made... like the H2 at the amusement park, and thier idea of "high ground" being pretty flawed.

As for power, it has only been 2 months since the outbreak. I would assume some if not most generators in a powerplant would still be going.

To be honest I think the shittiest part of a zombie apocalypse, other than deaths of loved ones would be no power.

I mean sure you can have generators, but they're noisy and need fueling each day. I can drive anything, use pretty much any tool, operate heavy equipment, and know how most locking or security systems work but I know crap all about running a powerplant and thus would be in the no electricity pile :/

They made bad choices in their vehicles too. In a nationwide panic like that, the petrol stations would be drained dry in no time, let alone the fact that petrol goes flat after a couple of months. Diesel doesn't however.
