It's Japanese alright, but definetly no sports car!

EDIT: Another hint, the TV adverts for these were quite famous back in the 80's.

I has something in common with the last car I posted here (apart from the both of them being Japanese).

@ Alpha Dog: No, it's not a Mazda.

Nay, it's not an easy one..i might note that Tosh and i searched and searched and searched really until Tosh gave the answer. There's soooooo many cars that look like this, you just don't want to know! I don't think i've seen this specific car here in the Netherlands..but i did see those lookalikes.

Really thought i knew it but couldn't lay my finger on it.

They are fairly rare cars here too. Although probably the rear light wasn't the best place to take a screenshot from.

So who wants to be next?

It's like some sort of modern Mini Moke or Citroën Méhari-type vehicle.

I assume it's French going by the registration plates?

Hmm, no luck here. Can't really make out the badge on it, but it sort of looks like the Autobianchi badge.

It was hard to tell from the custom grille maxine, I kept looking for buicks, and coming up short in the turn signal / grill frame area.

Top notch car though loved it in the movie Cobra

not looking at the IP, I would have looked at faith, SD and noticed that it is all of 5 streets wide and 5 streets tall and in the Middle of Freakin' Nowhere and wondered how many posters could register out of that town

Google maps street view is worth a look, you can see his house from there

Tosh, I think I've seen that before, but I can't remember where. maybe car and driver had a blurb on it.

EDIT - And Alpha Dog can not get on he thinks you guys banned him and he is the one who show'd me this site, and the reason i have the same IB address or what ever you call it, is because I have his laptop, he let me barrow it.

It won't let him log in.
