ANY RARE CARMA STUFF?

Post by Archminion »

So have any of you got any rare or unusual Carmageddon items?

I've been looking to get hold of this C1 Special Edition for some time but know nothing about it apart from that it's meant to have some extra little promo goodies inside..

So have you got any promo items or weird stuff you'd like to talk about?

Pretty much anything official rare.

It could be anything really, maybe prototype stuff of the games, posters, pretty much anything that wouldn't have been retail or mainstream sale anyway.

Maybe a very rare promo version of one of the games?

I'm interested in all that.

I've the C1 Special Edition. Bought it from eBay there about 3 years ago from the UK for about £25. It has the a T-shirt, keyring, window sticker, the game, among a few other things. They're hard enough to find though, but keep searching eBay (especially eBay.co.uk) and you'll probably find one eventually.

I remember there was an original painting for the boxset of Carmageddon TDR 2000 on eBay a few years ago, going for about €1,000. Doesn't get much rarer than that.

No, it was an actual painting by some famous painter. I remember I posted a link to the auction here a good while back.

oh, cool.

I don't really have any rare stuff, I do have the C2 demo (which isnt rare), i have C2 (in its original box), TDR2000 (in its original box), also i have the sold out version of C2 and TDR2000 aswell, Carmageddon and the SplatPack, Carmageddon for PSX, Carmageddon 64 (Zombie, Dinosaur and Human versions), Some early renders (which have probably been posted here before), that's it.

Yeah,

I'd be interested in the C1 spesh edition (does that contain the SP as well?)

That TDR painting sounds fine but must have definitely been a one off...

Has anybody here on the forums got it??

Rare (comparative rarer, superlative rarest)

1: Very uncommon; scarce.

2: (of cooking, particularly meats) Cooked very lightly, so the meat is still red (in the case of beef).

Hmmm.

I'm pretty confident I'll pick one up at some point.

I maybe new here but I'm pretty sharp when it comes to getting rare games.

I'l just say I usually deal in NeoGeo stuff..
