Yesterday, I was scared and felt the true meaning of fear. (Mental discussion)
Yesterday, I was scared and felt the true meaning of fear. (Mental discussion)
Okay, yesterday (Friday, Vet holiday) I mind went through hell, I haven't been the same sence. What happened was I trying to learn how to drive a stick in the Honda with my Dad in an empty parking lot, after probably over 10 attempts I learned how to work it but it sprang an awfule gas leak, we couldn't get it to run so my Dad walked home to get his Isuzu Suv with some tools and fix the Honda, I decided to regretfully stay and watch over it, I was getting kinda worked up and a guy on his bike came by and we passed a few words (kind words, this was before I went crazy) then he left, a storm was coming in and I basicly was wanting help and wanted to get the f#ck out of there, I franticly walked around tears dropping with my mind switching between anger and sadness aswell as a constant sign of fear, I even had a few beleifes, one of them was that the car istelf was screwing with my mind for complaining, insulting, and even lightly kicking its tire out of frustration, another was this was a way of God punishing me because everything around me had some odd pink tint for awhile and when I started to settle it slowly went away. I swear though this car wants me dead, I'm honestly kind of afraid of going near it as my mind would corrupt with frustraition from the memory. All I know is when the carborators fixed I am selling the lil'satanic beast, theres other people out there who might appreciate it and if I'm thinking about selling a car I don't want it screwing with my mind, I was becoming more settle, normal, and wise and now this happens, I just want to sell it to get me a VW and be done with these little Japanese cars. We have to fix the carbs to more people will want it and we've had 5 people interested but they never e-mailed back.
Speed can come in a little packages too!

So you preffear a slowly death?
Well, my father got a vw santana and its terrible
The interior is terrible, the engine got a weird sound (with time it gets even worse), the color is ugly, the eletrical system is one of the worst i ever saw out there (got a lot of problems with the factory alarm), the seats are ridiculous and the list goes..
And thats not because its "old" (1995), sometime ago bought a 2004 and it was even crappyer
Nothing in the interior really matched
btw, if you where talking about the vw bug, he is funny and doesnt have many problems as the newer vw´s.
if you dont care about noise and ecology it stills neat (dont use it to travel sometimes the engine gets on fire when overheated)

Old VW Bug, just any old car with a slant six or smaller. Remember my mind is weird and I have a moderate amount of aspergers.

Slant six! We use to have a 87 Dodge Ram with one. It was a good truck.

Funny thing is one of the radiator pipes on my Micra burst on me last night. Water was pissing all over the exhaust manifold. I was stuck in the middle of nowhere as well to make maters worse. Luckly I got to the nearst garage before the whole thing completely overheated on me.

Actually engine fires are usually the result of negligent owners who dont do any maintenance ( you're supposed to change the fuel hoses every couple of years). Much like people who want an old classic car because it looks 'cool' and then just drive it and beat on it like it's a new car, eventually it develops problems and they dont have the desire or ability to fix anything. People like this should be beaten with sticks.

VW's are rocks.
My father his Passat (not sure if that's the name for the same car outside Europe) got manhandled for years (for instance, Rally racing through dunes) and the only problem it had in years was a software issue, what needed to be reset.
Not that I'm a big fan of Golf's and Polo's, but I think VW is a very solid brand.

( you're supposed to change the fuel hoses every couple of years).
Dunno about that, (never had one, just drove one from a friend)
its pretty usual to see some burnt hoods driving around (there are really plenty bugs here)
but anyway..
You should be right and i agree with the maintence thing ,
but vw really should write something there...
Something like "change the hoses or the things will get.. ugly!"
"So many pedestrians, so little time." Feel like some road kill today?

Actually the hose thing is more for these days. Back when the cars were newer there werent quite so many problems, they're old cars now.
