My New Job.

Post by TheJabMan »

I can't believe they pay me for this.

I work for Vascor now, what Vascor does is sorts the shipments of the new Chryslers on the 300

platform. So it's literally 3 airfields of Magums, 300's, and Chargers.

They need to be sorted and put in order for shipping. That means I get paid to drive these cars

with 000002km on them. Yesterday I got to drive the new Superbee, only 1000 made.

This place is insane, I'll go into more detail later, but alas I have to go to work.

It's so strange having a job you look forward to going to, It's such an alien feeling!

Probably not for a month or two, I'll be needin a new digicam, seeing as my last one stopped starting up, so I destroyed it.

It's weird, it seems that all the land they use is on loan from the government.

All the big lots seem to be on airfields for the DND. Like the homebase is up at

Downsview, but then we get sent to some place that starts with a W, and out to even Borden

which is about a 1.5 hour drive. We go to these places in kind of a mini-van convoy.

The cars are never driven out of the lot, which is too bad because... I mean there are ALOT

of Hemi's. They get loaded and dropped off at the fields by rigs.

Anyways, as said before I gotta get going

Burnouts and jumps, hah security would be over in a shot, and I'd be fired on the spot.

Before I started some security gaurd nailed a line of Chargers doing 45ish, messed up the 1st

Charger pretty bad, and the 2 behind it a bit. He was more or less terminated instantly.

As for the burnouts and jumps, no problem but not with these lol.

We got 3 new cars comin at the farm, a LeBaron, Tempo, and my personal favourite to destroy...

a $75 Voyager!

Im gonna see if it'll take air off the snowmobile jump that mike pulled 112 feet off of. Even if it gets 60, then yay!

No, well unless Im driving one of the 4 work ones.

We only deal with one type of Car really.

The Charger, 300, and Magnum are all the same car with different bodies.

I don't know the details of our contract, but that seems to be all we deal in. I think it has to do with the plants that make them.

Pick on dodge all you want, you should see my rant about K-Cars on the BI forums lol.

I don't care for Dodge at all, I do enjoy a HEMI mind you.

heh, lebaron. Is it turbo? what about the voyager? I hear if you crank up the boost on those ones with the turbo 4 and gut them you can get them into a 12 second quarter in nearly stock trim. If you guys were closer to me, I'd have about 20 cars for ya. I just picked up a 72 dodge 1/2 ton for $20 not to long ago. It's been siting 15 years, but with a little wireing and a carb rebuild it should run. It could be a great truck to kill.

Arr, we don't buy cars that need work to run. We buy, thow on trailer, drive off, drive to death.

I don't know the specs of them, I doubt the LeBaron is a turbo my grade 4 Principal had one... I remember it being the 1st time I asked about what it meant...

The van, havent seen it yet so I dont know year/style but for 75 bucks I know it aint gonna be a looker

Cool! Yeah, I live about a 10 min walk from Downsview Airbase, everyday I drive along Allen rd to get to work and see TONS of 300C's, Chargers, and just about everyother they've ever made within the last 2-3 years.

I myself am waiting for the Challenger to show up there

It will, the car's frame is being discontinued in 2008, and after that we get Challengers.
