Quite right.

I have a picture somewhere of "Max" holding another man with a chain around the man's neck.

Or something, I don't think it was e3. These pix used to be on the old Stainless site.

I had some other pictures from that convention that had some Carma "booth babes".

Mastro seems to have saved quite a few, like some behind the scenes of filming the C1 "Max" and "Diana" cam animations

Around that time in england there was also this yearly "ECTS" another big game circus like the E3 which died like..i dunno 2003?

Possible its from there..
