Unless, ofcourse, you wanna make a highway crash and set your room on fire.
fire is a good friend when u want to trash some miniature car...
I spent six months big a black burnt spot on my carpet. Then another six months with a bare concrete square as my grandfather had cut out the burnt spot.
My family chooses functinality over cosmetics...

Re: Miniature Crashies
What works way better than fire is the handy-dandy hair dryer for melting plastic. Anytime I wanted a realistic looking wreck, I'd heat the hell outta the one I wanted wrecked until the plastic just started to droop a bit and then jam an unheated model into it where I wanted the damage.
The unheated model sustains almost no damage but the heated one ends up looking as if another car had hit it (which it has).
The plus side of the hair dryer is the heat is more controlled and it's clean.....No soot to deal with or those weird "holes" that open from uneven heating that just destroy the effect.
Plus, no fire hazard. Safe for indoors.
BTW- RM: For future reference, 'Vettes don't bend. They tend to shatter/splinter, being fiberglass and all. Best to freeze one solid and drop a brick on one end or hit it with a hammer.

Re: Miniature Crashies
yeah but you could ONLY use plastic cars with the hair direr. always go for metal in my opinion. My dad has a blow torch so im covered.
Re: Miniature Crashies
For metal, just go at it with a hammer. Blowtorch would just make it melt and you don't want it to look melty.
