Re: HHRYA
Thanks Kitteh,
If I win the HHR, I can sell my Tracker and have enough money to buy a new computer that will run TDR again (among other games )
Alex D,
What's the problem? I was joking about voting 1.
There's no way for me to tell what anyone voted until the week is over.
Then I can see what my "score" is

Re: HHRYA
Hmm,
It seems HHRYA has me (and DD) back in the top 5 again.
This list seems to change around a lot.
The scores were in the multi-thousands (top dog had 26K)
now it's back to the -totally different- list with us in it.
Our scores are all below 1000 excapt for the american flag one.
Kinda strange

I was looking through some of thene entrys .. alot of shit got mixed in there obviously. both of your entrys look good .. and i decided to vote for the hippo or whatever it was. I'm not a cadillac fan by no means. So I won't pretend to be. Sorry... and I don't get why a guy with detroit diesel as sa handle, is such a big caddy fan? arent you into Macks?

Re: HHRYA
I think GM is based out of Detroit as well...
but I don't know if they make Deisel Caddillacs.
And I beleive DD's message was: "Need Space?"
Both Caddys and Macs need plenty of space... to turn around

Re: HHRYA
first of all...
Cadillac made diesel Cadillacs
in the 70s Gm banner shows a Cadillac and a motto,
somethin like "dawn to dusk on a tank full"
i like diesel cause u can ride more for less..
the engine of detroit diesel is famous,
used for buses, macks, caterpillars and everything that is really strong...
its a strong name
i like that..
did i questioned ur nick name? did i? no?
i dont think i did..
does exist the possibility of i like the name detroit diesel?
does i have the right of use it as nickname??
i didnt saw in the terms of use nothin like "ur nickname should match with ur personality!!"
i think that me and everybody else noticed that u dont like Cadillac's..
but did i tryed to convince u to like em??
i dont think so, as i expect u to do the same
if u dont like it just say something like:
"hmm, nice work, thats not my kind of car but looks nice at all"
i expressed my way and my art in a criticism to the actual model in question..
did i opress ur work??
of course not...
did i opressed ur favourite car kind?
i dont feel that i did..
if i did, well sorry but i didnt sayd any lie (it have a hipopotamous name)
so do u think that im anger cause u questined my nickname??
no, not really...
but you are just sayn that i cant like the things i like 'cause my nickname doesnt fit in the theme
thats a abuse!
i like big tucks, semis and others but not as i like Cadillacs...
i dont like speed, i like space, room and detail(finishing)
and sober lines and that is a Cadillac..

Hey DD,
I didn't mean to insult you or anything; Sorry.
I like Caddilacs too... But can't afford one.
I just like Chevy's better. (it's all GM)
Actually HHR doesn't have anything to do with a hippo.
That was just my artistic representation of it.
I like your entry as well, I voted yours a 10.
peace

Re: HHRYA
but about it looks a hipo... well..
the looks of the car is not bad...
it have a lil of the 50s look, and thats good
i just dont like the name,
i think that name a car with letters and numbers is a lot lammer
its like...
"oww.. i need to buy a CJHAT1459"
the name is half of the thing
the car must have a cool name

Re: HHRYA
I agree, numbers and letters that don't spell anything is silly.
I can't believe Chevy has stooped to the level of Lexus and Mercedes.
And what's up with GM using days of the year for names too:
Chevy Equinox, Pontiac Solstice
Also since GM doesn't make the Oldsmobile brand any more, they should call it that:
The Chevrolet Oldsmobile. That would really confuse people
OR, you know how Olds used to have a car called the "Eighty Eight"
The HHR should be called the "Fifty Five"
Another idea is to use short common word for car names:
"The", "It", "And", "Or", "If", "What".
Ford released a car in Europe with the name spelled like the Brits pronounce "car": "Ka"
Other bird noises would be interesting too: "Chirp", "Whistle", "Herculees"
We could also use Carmageddon car names:
Eagle, Rubber Ducky, McKillem, Screwy Lewy , Soul Harvester

Yeah, only every mother fucker alive pronounces it wrong
They're either "The Ford Kay Ay", or "The Ford Kah"
Bunch o' muppets.

Re: HHRYA
woah. what with asking a question. It wasnt an insult there buddy. my nickname has nothing to do with anything in particular so I'm in no area to make fun of anyone else's I was just wondering if there was some kind of line with detroit diesel and cadillac. and, discrimination is a worse cause then a bit of teasing.
