1. Musclecarisma (I don't know that MCF guy too well, but he sure does a brilliant job there)

2. DTD, Crashocalypse, C2S' R&D (the other sides are great too, of course, and also more often updated, yet still these 3 sites got the real high quality stuff goin' on)

Btw, I finish school next wednesday (for good!), after that you may expect me actually workin on C2 stuff again. Stay tuned.

I don't really have a single favorite...

My favorites are The Spray Shop, Crashocalypse, C.R.U.D., Driven To Destruction, Old School Customs, and CWA. These are all the Carma sites I have bookmarked. They all have thier reason for being there.

well if the site is evaluated according to the amount of quality downloads, then for me it's DTD/CRASHOC/CRUD.

btw, it's a bit off topic, but where do find skins? the guy did quite a lot and some of them very nice, just i can't seem to find a site that has them.

I like TSS and OSC cause they have thier own forum.

I like most of the Carma sites for thier contents.

Just because I didn't mention it, doesn't mean I occasoinaly visit it(usualy if I'm looking for something specific).

I had two sites, full of skins... CTN is not online, because the host has login issues, so I cannot renew the site. The other site has major links problems. I could not solve those problems the last time I tried, and I actually don't want to try it again, because it is actually worthless to put that site back online. With other words: I hope that the host of CTN fixes their login issues, otherwise I don't have skins anymore... But I thought DTD had the most recent collection of piss crap. I own Mhuahah!

my avatar is an SS symbol but im not a nazi

well... the swastica, is now synonymus to nazi... but it actualy dosnt mean oppression... dont remember what i means... but i remember when hearing what it meant i was supprised... tho people who dont know (and some who knows) what it actualy means WILL missunderstand why the person has one... the iron cross (the WW1&2 germa hig grade medal) for instance is synonymus to the nazi... but has hardly anything to do whit them... it was just a medal shape they used... they might still use it...

Same whit the Red star... most thing instantly COMUNISTIC... nope dosnt mean that... Russians still use that sign on their military aircraft... everyone know who it belongs to

Went to the dictionary and got this...

Swastika - A symbol or ornament in the form of a Greek cross with the ends of the arms at right angles all in the same direction, and each prolonged to the height of the parallel arm of the cross. A great many modified forms exist, ogee and volute as well as rectilinear, while various decorative designs, as Greek fret or meander, are derived from or closely associated with it. The swastika is found in remains from the Bronze Age in various parts of Europe, esp. at Hissarlik (Troy), and was in frequent use as late as the 10th century. It is found in ancient Persia, in India, where both Jains and Buddhists used (or still use) it as religious symbol, in China and Japan, and among Indian tribes of North, Central, and South America. It is usually thought to be a charm, talisman, or religious token, esp. a sign of good luck or benediction. Max M["u]Ller distinguished from the swastika, with arms prolonged to the right, the suavastika, with arms prolonged to the left, but this distinction is not commonly recognized. Other names for the swastika are fylfot and gammadion.

I believe it says it stands for good luck and benediction.

i recall swastika had a good vibe somehow...i also remember a manga i think...that the hero had the symbol in his back...and he was a kinda ninja i dont remember...

the problem is the damm nazi used as a symbol of opression and mass killing...anything u use as a symbol of this will have a "bad vibe"...even if they used teddy bears as flags...lol

The swastika (or crooked cross) has been used a symbol for a long time - there is even evidence that it was used by Alexander The Great. However, in the symbol that he used, the angles were on the other side. And yes, the swastika has been used as a symbol of benediction in the past. I suppose Hitler adopted it with the hope that his 'battle' will seem more justified.

Anyway, to what I was going to say - and this goes to everyone - I personally will not tolerate any racism or neo-nazi bullshit here, and I believe D_B will agree with me. So all of you, be carefull where you take this conversation.

Just so we don't have any misunderstandings further on.

As you were.

EDIT: To all of those that listed DTD as your favorite (or one of your favorites), kudos! Appreciate it!

The Swastika comes from the Gamada Cross, which meant to give good luck to its carrier.

It has been used for long time, and after Adolf Hitler adopted it as the NAZI symbol, it's been said to be an evil sign, which awkwardly, it's exactly the opposite.

I remember seeing an image of one of the first Coca-Cola merchandise campaigns, back in the 1920's they used to gave away Gamada Crosses with the Coca-Cola symbol written over it.

One thing we must learn is that symbols such as the swastika, the hammer and the scythe (or whatever it is called), the davidian cross, or any other are most commonly used by dictators and abusers as a carrot they place in front of their people to lead them wherever they want to. they do not mean nothing by themselves. hell even the crusaders went to distant lands carrying the cross and slaughtered and abused in the name of god.

There was this guy by the name Sid Vicious... who was little more than a junkie and a mediocre bassist... but had an interesting way of looking at this... If some of you remember the Sex Pistols (or have watched the docummentary "the filth and the fury", quite enjoyable view) this dude could be seen many times with a red T shirt with a nazi swastika on it, obviously he was no nazi, but he wore it to strip it of its meaning, to show the world it was just two gammas crossed that didn't kill anyone, the ones who wore it did.

Along history there have been a bunch of symbols supposely "good" that have been used for the most depicable means... take for instance the symbold the soviet union used... yeah they were allegedly a symbol of unity and of the force of the people... but the ones that committed massacres during the stalin era, the commisars that sent their troops to a certain death and shot their own people if they were to retreat, used it to justify their means... same happened with the crusaders, as mentioned above, with the japanese kamikaze pilots that went to death with a rising sun on their foreheads, and many many more...

Honour the people that deserves to be honoured, be it the firefighters that lost their lives in WTC, the brave troops that took over normandy's beaches, Jesus or whatever person you may find worthy of appreciantion by their actions and sacrifice as human beings, but never, EVER play allegiance blindly to a symbol, because then you'll be becoming the donkey and someone who doesn't give a shit about you will use and abuse you.

Be free minded.

Peace.

PS: Sorry for the rant folks , but, as beast says, this thread was coming too closer to "nazis/communists were cool" mood.

Right on man, very well said. Although the swastika has been around as a symbol for ages, and it has been used in one way or another by various cultures throughout the ages, nowadays, it's simply accepted as a symbol of the nazi movement. We, as humans, might never look over the fact that it symbolized Hitler & his ideals. But we have to accept that it's a symbol that has been around way before Hitler was, and eventually, we do have to get over it.

The Hammer & Sickle used by the Soviet Union and other communist / socialist countries, one of which was Yugoslavia, which Macedonia was part of, probably was accepted somewhat different though. Most of the 'older' people (and by older, I mean 40+) in Macedonia recall fondly the 'communist' era - and while I do agree that Stalin did terrible things, Yugoslavia on it's own was never a under a communist stronghold - it acted somewhat like a buffer zone between the west and the east. Anyway, the Hammer & Sickle symbol is becoming more and more common in western culture aswell - I've seen it worn on tshirts by people just going to a party - simply because people understand the philosophy behind it - brothership. The way communism was executed in reality might not have been the best, but the simple philosophy of equality, brothership & unity is a pretty good outlook on life.

I agree with Wolfheart - honor those that deserve it - it might be firefighters, soldiers, or your parents. Never blindly follow an ideal and keep your mind open. Symbols are just that - symbols. But we have to be very carefull how we accept them and see them.

Right on Beast...

The two tools are symbols of the industrial proletariat and the peasantry respectively; placing them together symbolises the unity between agricultural and industrial workers.

About what i use to say... i mostly combine it whit the fact that no political system cant work whitout farmers (Agricultural) and workers (industrial)... it dosnt matter what nation you belong to... comunistic, democratic, and all the other types of politics... id wanna see a nation work whitout people in the AC and IND and still managing to work
