I need to quit. I'm being sooo mean. I just feel that TDR was such a disapppointment. Even if they do finish this one, will guy's like me even be able to run it? I mean, not everyone can just run right out & get a new computer so that they can run these damned games. There have been a lot of them released recently that I can't run! And, getting a new system is years away for me! Needless to say, I'm not getting all that hyped about another Carmageddon. I believe that this series peaked with C2 & will never be able to top iteventhough it was unfinished. Well, that's my opinion. anyways...

well,if you put it this way computers are 7to1.so my was bought in 99'-00'.

in computer years,if there such a thing,mine would be 35 years old!

there are new things coming out every month for computers,we all know that.

so,to stay in the game,you would have to buy a new comptuer to be "up to date"

every 6 months and that sucks,but you can buy stuff to make it better...

JP, got console? From what I recall it's being released on console as well, though I could be mistaken. I mean, I see Carma as a PC racer really, but if you really need to satisfy an urge...

Though that would cut you out of the homemade cars which, if the games reasonable enough, will come.

Well, this is just an opinion. But, if I had to take my new Carma to a console just to be able to play it, I would rather go without it! The biggest thing for me with the Carma series has been the editability. On condole, you don't have that. It just wouldn't be Carma without my alterations...

Don't get me wrong, I do like consoles & they are great for other games. Just not anything Carma.

depends if the console game is a conversion from the PC, take GTAVC for example, released on PC, modded like theres no tomorrow and the xbox version has the same file structure, so making it virtual the same to mod as the PC version I have GTA: Liberty City TC Mod running on my xbox along with some other mods and all work like a treat!

But yeh PC rule for modding, just pointing out the fact that console games can be modded (editable)

im sure now days since xbox And ps2 are pretty powerfill mechines they could support more graphics

I'm on your side, as far as Carma goes. I'm a console gamer, actually, since I'm getting fed up with the bollocks my PC's been giving me, but Carma's just a PC game really. Along with FPS and RTS games. Those just work more natural on a PC.
