Also, what's the status on its headlights? I've used the original texture here but I'm pretty sure it uses the very small one in C2 and it gives the car a futuristic look, it's even depicted like that in the C2 menu image. And the original texture seems to indicate that the headlights could be lit.

I guess I missed that contest.

I like what you did with the Tashita.
I think it looks better in C1 than C2 especially with your smoothing.

I don't know what the story is on the headlights.
My stock C2 Tashita has no headlights or grille. There's just a strip of grayish polys?
Not one of my favorite C2 cars so I guess I never looked all that close at it.

Could the polys where the headlights go be env mapped? Just a thought.

Thanks Coffeycup :) Not env mapped no, but the texture in C2 is 4x4. I think they gave up on the animated headlights and either forgot to remove the temporary texture or then they thought it looked better like that. I lean for the latter one.

Decided to spend more time on the C1 Tashita 2. Reworked most of the textures to fit the palette correctly and make things readable heh. Remapped the gradients and stuff too.
So yeah, it's available at RR2000 too :)

I think the tashita looks good, and so does the mosnter bug thing, tho I wasent totally keen on the idea, hm,

^ You should have a look at how well the textures get converted to the C1 palette.
Might be C1 worthy material.

Nope!.
Its the kenworth from the truck mod, modded into a tanker, with the sleeper removed, Ive actully got it to be driveable now, I figured out the whole C1 bounding box crap, but the handling is still off, so I need to tweek some,

Ya dat blood is great. Where'd you get them?

And that night time scene looks great. Arethe tail lights and plate 'lit'?
Or does it look lit because all the other textures are dark? Looks cool with the black fog.

I know we set up explicit opponents spread around the Maxed Out! map, but starting on a grid you get real nice Mad Max car type chases. :grin:
