CWA Yearly Awards DEAD????

umm, why isnt anything happening with the contest. i know all the admin's arent on because they are busy, but they ones that are on (n3wton, dB, Boose, ect.) some of the time could try to take a stab at it?



and could ppl like lets us preview one item they are entering into the contest? here's mine so far. if you can't reconize it, its AdR's '68 Camaro SS. and the reason i havent asked to use parts, is cause i used some of adr's parts, plus i dunno if the bloody thing that we enter is gonna have to be released......

I'm prolly not gonna be in on it 'cause work keeps getting in the way and I don't have a lot of time to make stuff til my next vacation.

I'd nominate everybody who likes the idea to run it.

Take alla those guys and figure out who wants to judge and who wants to enter. Say those people count for 1/3 of the vote and the admins 1/3 and the rest of the community that isn't involved as the other 1/3.

Or summin' like dat.

This is for the benefit of the community, right?

The community should ultimately be the judge.

Hi Fb,Hi DB...i really tanx u 2 for the support in the contest...and i agree totally whit Db idea...but we still need someone to host the contest votes and stuff like that...no ones offered yet...the contest isn´t dead,but ia agonizing...lolwe need someone to host and try to make a sketch for the vote section and how we´ll be able to count the votes and stuff...

I think we really need more ppl to support the contest...maybe cut down some categories...or some prizes....well,as DB say...the Community itself is the judge...post ur replys...

Hmmz... no the 5-skin pack was actually a plan for the awards, but now that contest is gone, my plan is gone also. If I was the only one who had a 5-skin pack I was automatically the winner of that contest, so it was only a controversial way to win something But thanks anyway

Perhaps you could even divide it in best pic and best text.

Signatures are always something that make forums interesting, I think.

Well, I think we should make some more categories. Like a newbie skinner, newbie modeller, n00b of the year... but the 5-skin pack contest wasn't a good ID. BUT if [url=mailto:K@VeRa">K@VeRa[/url] decides to put that contest back on the list, I would go on with the 5 skins I was making. And I think (because it is a 2003 contest) we could better decide the rankings @ December 30th. But what about webmasters like T2K and I (we both have websites about Carmageddon), are we a part of the judges, or are only the webmasters of the 'big ones' judges?
