Can't believe this was missed, but 5 years ago on Wednesday Stainless re-launched Carmageddon.com and announced they had re-acquired the rights to Carmageddon from Square Enix to start creating a brand new game and revive the series.

It's hard to believe 5 years has already passed since that exciting news reached fans. Since then there's been a successful crowd funding campaign, an early access release, a full release, numerous patches, over a hundred twitch streams and soon a huge console launch.

Congrats to everyone at Stainless on 5 great car smashing years and here's to the next 5 and beyond!

Thank you Trent, I would have never have guessed that its been that long Since the Launch of Carmageddon Reincarnation.

I didn't see these years go by at all!

I remember thinking to myself I had to hurry it up and finish all my C1/C2 mod before C:R was released. Didn't work out at all :D

Wow, five years came round pretty quickly! Still remember the beaming smile I had when I was invited to work on building the website to announce the title!
