Thanks for the kind words dudes! Haha you're right Maxi, CarEd is the best Ed I've ever known

I thought I'd post a progress pic to show that some is actually being made (tho slow as usual). Textures about 80% complete and only easy ones left to do, then plonk some better wheels on her, and skoimp some minor details on too, haha probably be finished around x-mas time

Image

The Mondeo got a little attention too

Edit* Fuck, I just looked at my post from a while ago, saying they would be finished by last x-mas, where the hell dose the time go? :supercrazy:

Those both look cool. I'd bang the contrast up some on the Mondeo, it's looking sorta flat.

Nice one CC, I was struggling trying to get the black to look good, that adds some life for sure.

Rad, thanks guys  Progress is happening, slowly (I need to stop getting stoned or I end up just staring at the model dreaming up armor attachments) I cant wait to get these finished so I can learn a newer 3D tool, 3D max looks immense, building stuff triangle at a time is getting heavy, and I'm hoping to build stuff for C:R one day, my first C:R release will probably be in 2020

Great Zodiac SD  Just one thing though, as Coffey already mentioned with the Mondeo, and i Think it applies here too that more contrast is needed to give it more depth.

Looking forward to release

Thanks Pip. shes getting close to release now, I'll give the textures another go over n see what comes out, having trouble getting a good texture on the exhausts and suspension with CarEd's texturing mode.

A little bit of damage from testing the other day

The car's been finished for a few days now (after a heavy set-back that knocked my motivation for a few weeks) problem now is no matter what I do I cant get a screen-shot from C2 in DX9 mode, unless it's in a window (looks shit), no idea whats going on it's happened before and no idea how it resolved, I could take shots literally 7 days ago fine, even a screen capture program chucks out a blank image  short of reinstalling W7 I have no clue now what to do, I've tried different 3DFX wrappers but no help n the only way I can get a actual image is using DX7 mode in DgVoodoo, but that dose some twisted inversion of the game.

Has anyone any idea whats going on, can anyone help? If I aint worked it out soon I'll have to use some some old ones, haha this is like the final hurdle of doom

*Heres a bit of damage from last week, I haven't got a single shot with textured exhausts*
Image

**Had to be in 16bit colour mode to take shots, 99% of the time CarEd is open forcing W'dows into 16bit, as the car was finished CarEd closed, silly stuff ay?**

Next I'm gonna do some minor stuff kept under 5000 pollys, I have some buggy n hotrod style concepts floating about I want to have a go at. I managed to get loads done on the Mondeo's over the last two weeks, she's plodding along nicely, shouldn't take long

Now go smash this thing up yo!

Early Mondeo damage shot, wheeless at the mo to prevent CarEd from tripping out so much, got some odd stuff going down with the black textures so think it's gonna change to some sort of blue, might do a low budget racing sticker thing if I can find good pics and time

100% agree with Mastro, good job

Ref Mondeo:
I personally do not like using photo textures for bodywork so if you have the time maybe you could do your own like on the Putrid Horn.

Also of topic: isn't it quiet on the board shhhhhhhhhhhh.
