Still in the early stages-lotta stuff missing on it yet. Just started modeling it in earnest yesterday when it was raining and I couldn't get any work done outside. Mebbe I'll get bored later tonight and slap some more detail and textures on it.

Here we go. That's a bit better.
Gotta clean up/adjust the textures some and figure out how to adapt TTR's wheels and suspension stuff to the new model's text file...

Woah, that looks great!
There's a suspension tute here, if it'll help

Thanks, JC.
Tell me something...
This is based on TTR's SkullCrusher. I stripped his model down to the frame and the wheels (Left the wheels the same way and in the same position he had them in.)
Would I be able to rip the grooves/groovyfunkrefs (whatever the suspension/wheel attributes/steering part is) out of SkullCrusher's text file and paste them over the wheels/suspension part in my model's text file and have the wheels work like they do on his model?
This was my original plan when I asked if I could make a knockoff vehicle based on his vehicle.
Whaddya think? Would it work 'cuz I left the wheels/axles in the exact same place he had 'em.
which parts exactly of the .txt would I have to rip and paste over?

Well, it should but you know it's usually not that easy. ;)
But yeah, definitely try that first.

Looks good D_B :)
I'd just use C2 ped models or Coffeycup's driver model (Earl) as a base for the poor sods hanging at the front.

Ya, im gona say that, looks awsoem but, well The guys on the front Ill be blunt and honist I think they let the thing down, Making people is an ass, I know, but something bout the front bugs me,

Ok, I have to agree. There is some weirdness going on there. Maybe break them up differently? Project textures from side instead of front?Mad_Maxine wrote:Making people is an ass, I know, but something bout the front bugs me
Like Maxine said, Humongous looks great.
Something interesting

Ya like I said, it's still in progress. I broke up the guys in front into (legsfront/back), (bodyfront. body back), (body top), (face), (back of head). Neither of them have arms as they were supposed to be tied to their sides or behind their backs. (hence the triangular wideness). I've yet to adjust their textures-as ya can see their sides are a lil different shade than the front (due to having to get views from different pics).
The body sizes are different because the left guy was average sized and the right guy was tall and fat.
Thanks fpr the input, Maxy...
I'll get 'em sorted out soon. Weather was gorgeous the past day or so and I spent some time out riding instead of screwing around in CarEd.
Is the weirdness basically what Coffey described? When I get everything adjusted I'm sure it'll look better.
*EDIT: OK...I see some of the weirdness that isn't just texture misalignment... I did make both of these guys pretty damn beefy. Time fo' dese suckas to goes onna diet...

haha, yeah they got lots of padding up front. Maybe make arms a separate object?
Re: The Ayatollah of Rock-and Rollah....(Maxed Out! vehicle
Yeah, OK. That'd work. This thing's already 8+k polys...What's a couple more?

It's still in the works. I'm waiting for the next 'thunderstorm' day to work onnit. Sun's out-got stuff to do atm. It won't get shelved, though.

Re: The Ayatollah of Rock-and Rollah..(in-game)
OK, what with the input from you guys, I've decided to just hood the hostages. I just couldn't find proper face angles for them from the movie footage.
Said Coffey regarding the wheels: "Well, it should but you know it's usually not that easy. ;)
But yeah, definitely try that first." Um... , yeah...it was that easy. Couldn't believe my luck!
Hey JC-I sent ya the zip.
