As a special introductory offer download a desert camo skin for either Range Rover or Monster Rover
I found the camel model on SketchUp's 3Dwarehouse made by 'zt2fan' and coverted it to a C2 ped.
(the dinosaur ped was totally from scratch btw)

EDIT: I uploaded a new zip that fixes BBOX. If your camel sinks into the ground when it rolls onto its back, grab the new file.

That's one of the most irritating thing when fiddling with peds.
That's also what actually dissuaded me to go further with the HL2 Strider and kinda decided me to put the whole ped animating aside, no matter what I tried they just sink into the ground. If not directly when walking then when they fall. I understand it might also be due to a lack of animations (or b/c of bad animations) on my part but still, peds aren't the best programed part of C2 :sneutr:

Tosh: Too bad the Strider and bike animations didn't work out, shit. :crazy:
The fix for the camel was to edit his BBOX.

Oh I haven't given up on the bike ped to be honest.
It's still written there on my task list under carma stuff to do :)

Probably the only ped I'd really want to get ingame just for the sacred feeling it has to it.
But good animations are indeed necessary and for as much action IDs as possible.
And while I'm not an experienced animator, doing it in 3dsmax 2 sure doesn't help!


But I also thought lately (can't remember thanks to what) that huge/gigantic peds would be awesome (if they didn't sink in the ground), they could even be seen as bosses etc. I really doubt the engine would permit that.
