Anyone know a good torrent server?
Before you jump to the obvious conclusion, let me explain;
What I've got is a CD burned way back in 1999 when I was tutoring at this academy joint which had the rarely home-accessible broadband internet at the time, and I downloaded a whole bunch of user-made Carmageddon content while working there over the course of one week, and burned the whole lot on a disc at the end of the whole thing.
In other words, I want to share this '99 custom content with you guys in some way. I don't know what even half of this stuff is, there might even be some custom stuff for C1 here. A lot of it might still be downloadable somewhere. In the other hand, there might be content here from websites that have long since closed down.
Maybe if I wrote down a list of all the zip files in this archive and someone could tell?

Yeah. A list would be great. Maybe there's a gem in there.

This whole act of taking screenshots just reeks of laziness.
And seeing all this stuff is making me feel old :(

Anything worth uploading on it's own there that isn't on some site already?

Re: Anyone know a good torrent server?
Lots of stuff by Jester, CWR, Freddy, etc. All that era you see? Right before the golden age.
A lot are indeed available on the interwebs already (mainly on Wasted!). Only a couple of files are C1 related btw.
But we'd need to double check everything. I'd say 50% might not be available online at the moment.
However there are a lot of files (esp. peds) by Lasse "Scream" Gjertsen, and I don't think I had ever seen these before: ...and more.
Or this mod I don't recognize either for example: There's also an Ecto-1 mod for a drone (or a drone made driveable idk) etc etc.

Good old Freddy Krueger.
Re: Anyone know a good torrent server?
I do remember a bunch of these peds from a long time ago. I think there were at CFC when that was the big site to go to.

Re: Anyone know a good torrent server?
Is Raptor the only C2 dinosaur-ped?
Re: Anyone know a good torrent server?
I think it is the only one. I wonder what bones animation it uses, one of the aliens? I guess I'll need try it.
EDIT:
Hmm, it uses the regular biped animations and has pretty convincing movement, surprisingly. Other than being a very simple model it's too bad the head didn't swap out to have snapping jaws.
