Huh? Wrong Windows version...

Post by Jygga »

An error message keeps popping up when I try to start the game.

"Sorry, not supported on Windows NT." What is wrong this time? Maybe it was a bad idea to download another version of the game.

Indeed i found a specific c2 patch that causes that error, just use another different patch, for example the super v2 patch, unless you don't have the Uk version of the game, in that case, just keep trying other patches...

I see. Sounds vaguely familiar but where can I find that patch then?

Jygga : there's already a topic with the very same problem as you.

I'm positive that the Super Patch V2 also works for US version but that should be confirmed.

What I've figured is that the copy protection is causing this error, because it is not fully supported by Windows XP. So my guess is that the Cheat supported Super-Patch v2.0 is a version with the protection commented out. Right?

Humm, i don't know for sure..

Anyway my europe C2 version works straight after installing, without the cd! This same exe i believe is/was distributed by SCI on their official website (to go around the NT error).
