I can understand about the hood ornament, but the front bumber just doesn't quite work because it doesn't match the back bumper. Could you at least put that black strip on it?

That Police Academy mod ain't working for me neither, Kav. When I try to download it from your MOD page it gives the following error: "The file was not found on the server". I know nWo's site's been offline for a couple days last week due to exceeded bandwith crap, but all the other downloads seem to be working fine, so I'll have a looky at the ftp server and see if I can fix it...

[EDIT] The download failed because the filename was too long. Everything's fixed and should be working fine now. [EDIT]

^ Thats the best color. Are you going to put the emblems/hood ornament before releasing?

I was thinking, could you make the dogdish's texture a different texture? It'd be cool if like you could make an alternate texture for it in the form of an alpha channel so that we could customize it so it could also be a beater with plain steelies. But that would require some polys behind the dogdishes, wouldn't it? Well, it's just an idea.

How does that chrome skin actually work? As far as I can tell it's just a gradient, what im wondering is, if I replace the skin on this LTD with say the skin of the Merc Limo, will it make the car all shiny like, or is there some hidden setting that effects how the gradient ends up lookin shiny?

Mind you the door handles arent modelled, so it would look a lil odd but hey.

if the car is already skinned...in which this case it is, all ya gotta do is open the car in pt2, click on the textures you want to chromify, hit the 'flags' button, and check one of the 2 env mapped checkboxes (whichever looks better on the car). save it and that's all!

Dude, easy, easy... I was at vacation, so the updates will be back soon. And what about one month? Sites like PM or dTD aren't updated for at least one month either. And still they are great sites. And the kinda 404 error... that was some commercial stunt by those motherfucking 50free bastards. Yeah thats correct, those cocksuckers likes to imitate a stupid little loser-rapper... But like I said, Updates were off cuz I was away, but they come very soon with some Addon-Cars... really? Yeah, Addon-Cars. FINALY!

Greetz, nWo4life

(If I was rude, than I'm sorry, but I'm too agressive today... I shoulden't update my site either)

if u do the flag that makes it chrome ... the texture will be all messt up

the darker colors will be on top and the lighter on the botom....

u need to re do the placement of the chrome and sheet metal colors so that the the chrome is where the trim goes and the body color where the sheet metal is

wow i realy sound like i know what im dowing

True, you cant chromey just a normal skin, alls it does is shift the pixesl around or whatever on certain angles, so it will really look screwed up, like if the door texture skin has a door handle on it, its gonna move around everywhere and be all blurry. When you want to skin a car with the chromey effect you gotta do it a certain way and in plaything, as you still sorta need to have lighting effects on the car so it looks normal, look at how small blocks did his cars, thats how its gotta be done.
