Novelty vehicles

Post by random_monkey »

I'm currently bored of modelling the joobar, and need something to take my mind off it for a while... Thus, I want to model something that won't take long to completely set up and stuff, which means no fancy engine (if any at all), hardly any rollcage, no fancy dash... the general crap

I'm after idea's for a novelty vehicle, similar kind of thing to classicdrogn's 8ball idea. I'm not after a 'car with a bottle shape for the cab' - because that's the same as just modelling a car, with a bottle instead of a normal car-shape

So if you guys have got any idea's, they'd be muchly appreciated.

Ta.

Captain Chicken (of the naval persuasion) with a saucepan hat sailing along on a rocking horse in a fairy ballerina costume, with a chefs knife (-) in one hand and a pair of severed testicles/eyeballs on stalks/celery in the other.

I was thinking the exact same thing, Spike. The Simpsons car would make a great addon!

Exactly, which is why I don't really want to do it... It's a good idea and everything, but not what I'm after...

the gravy boat idea was an /ok/ idea though.

Hmm...Howzabout an old steam engine-railroad or farm type...

A flying Rubik's Cube (with funks changing the colors and/or grooves turning the sections).

(Heh...How 'bout a chunk of C2 "road" that runs at Y 0.0 and when ya hit the enter key, a duplicate 300-ton "door" piece springs up and crunches peds and/or cars. make it ramp shaped so it can slide under cars and stuff so all ya see is the car it goes under lifting and falling back down for a second and then WHAM!).

eruh.....a rampaging car crusher...

a big tesla coil or Van de Graff generator that does the ol' C1 "Stella" thing and zaps peds.

uh....hmmmm...my imagination runneth dry at this point...I'll get back to ya.

Aye- I've been one-upped by the 'duck...That Poodle is WAAAYYY better than any of my ideas

Argh! Brainstorm! Howbout a hippie-beetle-camper mod...Y'know, a VW bug with an RV body on it where the back useta be.

Or mebbe a really bitchin' car steroe system with amps and subs and a really cool head unit and funky flashing lights-sans car! The ULTIMATE system! No car required!

Or then mebbe one of the "SUVs of the future" They're gettin' bigger every day y'know...(attachment)

No

I have faaaar too much uncomplete stuff

I'm doing a Henry, as seen above, first... I've already modelled it, (slightly larger than a vacuum cleaner), and am refining the skin and handling (boy, I hate working out suspension)..

I've left the nozzle bit that goes on his nose off too, it'dve looked weird floating or something.

Maybe I could get a vacuum cleaner noise for the engine
