K.I.T.T. Car

Anyone ever make a replica of the K.I.T.T. car from Knight Rider? I have to say I was real impressed while I was looking through the custom models and skins for C2. I really didn't expect to find so many high quality custom models and skins for a game released in 1998. Hell I think there's even more high quality custom models and skins for C2 than there are for GTA3.

Anyway, my favorite models are usually the strange/unexpected ones and I was a little disapointed to not really find any models for the K.I.T.T. car from the Knight Rider TV series. Personally I think it'd be great to see someone make one for C2, especially if they could add the little red swirling light in the front.

There is a K.I.T.T car for C2! BTW, there was a topic like this on the board, so use SEARCH, and check em out. Im sure that someone posted a link to that car.

Yes, there was a KITT and a KARR, it was a Shoebappa baby, with work from many others too, and it was damn slick I remember thinking, it took quite a while to release with the bits people were doing for it but I'm sure thats part down to lazyness too Speaking of lazyness, if no one else can provide it by the time I get home tonight if someone gives me a poke i will most certainly dig it out, although I might be biased in recalling it as cool as it was Knight Rider =) *out with the hasselhoff chest rugs*

In TDR they have one, its one of the base cars called Knave. Theres a pic in the attachment.

Yeah I searched the forum for it a bit, but came up empty handed so I figured I'd post a new thread to see if anyone did one. Thanks for the link Toshiba.

isnt KARR a car that was made to one of the interstate games... something simmiliar to KITT

KARR was KITT's prototype in the series, KARR was replaced because he didnt preserve a human life, and such an such.

DA, you're almost right... But you got KARR wrong. KARR is Knight Automated Roving Robot. If any of ya want more infos on Knight Rider, just go to: www.knightrideronline.com it got a lot of infos on KR.

Actually, it isn't a Banshee, it's a Dodge... Don't remember the name of the car they used though... I learned that on www.knightrideronline.com .

It would be very easy to make, considering the "Placeholder" car comes with the nfs3 game package, its a part of the game, its just you cant drive it, here is a 400x300 shot of it. I basically only added wheels and a CARP.TXT*

as you can see, it looks slighlty like a kitt, the other vehicle ... *look below*



as you can see the guy really only edited the interior, the wheels slightly, and added a red light in the front, other than that its an EA placeholder.

oh, btw, some guy mentioned the KARR ... here

as you can see, its really only an edited version of the last model ... in game, the car really doesnt look that great.

anyway, I just had to show you all that, sorry fro bringing up the topic again.

* the CARP is what is used to edit speeds gear ratios and other attributes in a nfs3, and also 4, car.

yeah its worth downloading if you wanna hit the cops flying all over the place, the weight factor is reallyt embellished the normal K.I.T.T is more realistic however.

I still got my finished Ecto-1 around here somewhere. The whole 3d model is finished, no mapping done though. Maybe a few reference pics left.

If someone want to finish it, I can send it whenever it suits. Just contact me in some way.
