Slight problem with Plaything

Post by The_Bollocks »

I'm making a Renault Extra van for C2 at the moment. All is going well except I'm having some issues with PT2. I want to make a few of my textures double sided, so I open up the ACT and DAT files. It then keeps asking me to open up a PIX file, but I just skip that step (maybe I should open up one of them?) Anyway, I set all the textures I want to be double sided, and save the .SDF file. The problem is that it DOESN'T save the .SDF file anywhere, and when I close the program and import the files again, all the textures are still single sided.

Does anyone know where I'm going wrong. I never had this issue before when making previous vehicles. Thanks.

Maybe (surely) will I say nonesense, but did you try to open PT2 in admin mode ?

(are you on Vista ?)

It sounds like the program dont even write the .sdf file, it seems not to have sufficient rights to do it ...

Nevermind, got it sorted! For some reason it saved the new ACT & DAT files in the wrong folder. So I just moved them to the correct folder and it works!
