Carma 2 sounds choppy

My C2 sound is kinda garbled and choppy... All the others games and music sounds fine, but not Carma. I saw one guy posted here he had the same problem but gained no answer or solution. I doubt it's the soundcard cause I changed it.. Anyone knows what's goin' on? :confused:

If I install any newer "direct x" then whatever comes with the c2 CD my sound goes choppy, being 2009 now there are probably 25 versions of direct x, so try to find 6 or whatever.



ALso I had to completely reformat my machine back in the day, I dont think installing an old direct X over a new one or trying to remove the new one first helped at all

it shouldn't be a direct x problem should it?
