Don't worry, Maxine. No chance of deserts in our tiny little island.

Good to see that the cheap maps are back, JC. I'm still using a couple on one of my C2 installs. Nice work.

Well the awesome Blunderdome started as a cheap map no?

These could always evolve into something more complete in other hands

Shame you stopped making videos about the tracks :P

Would've been fun to see you do an entire lap around that!

I didn't think people would be excited about the big map. Cool! Yes, unless you're driving something heavy, the peds really knock you around. Maybe there should be less? I was going to try half. I found myself dodging peds (!) so I could keep my speed with the rest of the racers.

Found a .3ds of the map, so I might do an update. The opponent paths are awful because I did them manually with only 15 or 16 nodes. I want to do an accurate path using .asc to path and add a few more road side scenes, now that I have in a format I work with.

Those powerups look neat, are they unique to this map? Never seen 'em before.

Yeah, I just make my own textures. I couldn't figure out where the TWT was that had the original PIX for the powerups themselves. And I thought the blue looked good against the orangish brown. The powerups are transparent and spin.

That Big Track Outback is fookin' awesome@!
Always wanted a big, long track to haul ass on.

Trouble I'm having is when I accelerate (hold down the accel key), the screen freezes after a sec of acceleration and stays that way til I release the key. Same with steering so I have to "bump" the throttle key to keep accelerating or steering.
Is this my POS machine or just the huge track causing this?

I guess clowns make up for the marching band.
