Grit City - update

Post by coffeycup »

I got my SketchUp model into the game. Still want to add more to the level.

But I added opponent paths one night and ended up playing instead of working.

Today I decided to make a backup copy and then add noncars and peds for fun

Thanks!!

Instead of spending a lot more time on this map, I might just add a few more noncar items,

and maybe some powerups and release it this weekend.

This is my first serious attempt at a level and I think the only way to get better is to make MORE MAPS

That looks very nice. Are you going to use high res textures? Also, does that half bridge thing allow a car to jump to another half bridge thing over a riverbed ala Smokey and the Bandit?

Most of the building's textures are 128x128. That bridge has ramp opposite for jumping in and out of canyon.

Try it out yourself...

Thanks.

I just reposted the file with an update.

I had forgotten to do the material modifier for the off-road textures.

Please get the new version..
