VANILLA CARMAGEDDON II MINI-PACK (release 1b)

This pack is meant for developpers/modders to quickly
have a clean and up-to-date base for their project.
The pack is patched with version NO-CD UK BLOOD V2.
It includes ALL the templates, and everything is un-
twatted but REG/LIGHTS as it changes the ingame light
and FONTS as the game would crash if they weren't
twatted (the templates are included anyway!).
RusselFanies are ON.
Carstockalypse is included.
Steel Gonad O' Death is ON (code is WETWET (qwerty)).
Most unused content was removed.

Don't forget you'll need a glidewrapper or other
mediums to run C2 on modern systems.

That is all.

An idea by Hifi.
Templates from Errol.
Packed by Toshiba-3.

Code: Select all

119MB, by the way.
I understand this may seem like piracy etc.
It is obviously not the intent of this release.

Thanks, this mini-pack is very useful for modders.

Can you make another pack of Carma-Life 2?
It would be great to have it as base because has a new interface, better flames, explosions, water splash, higher resolution textures, ...

Hey there patzzz, I have no plan related to Carma-Life² to be honest.
As the years went by I started to dislike what I had done with that mod,
It somehow removes a good part of the Carmageddon feeling from the game IMO.

I think moving resources from CL2 to Vanilla should be rather easy if I left the tiffrgb folders in there.
If not I might make a GFX/SFX pack out of it (blood splashes should be reduced by 50% though).

It's the quarry mission apparently. This files seems to originate from 1999... a year after the release of C2. Seems to me this is an Errol production?

Yeah, looks like something from South Parkageddon.
I'll have to fix that today...

Thanks for spotting that, Doritos! :ssmile:
