Texture problem when importing into plaything

<t>Hey Cesm,<br/> <br/> yes it does do the flipping of the axis, but I meant taking the coordinates from MAx directly for using as a path, and for checkpoints. It saves me the time of moving around in Plaything, u see? :nyaha: Though, I believe I still have to learn to use plaything a bit more... <b...

<r>Well, with teadious I mean it is usually a hell of a job, not so much fun though... but the result can be very rewarding.<br/> <br/> yeah, then before you go ahead and create the whole track. Re: Urban Brawl

<t>Yeah, but Tosh, did you use instances or direct copy's in Max. Because when using an instance it should just use relative coordinates in stead of fixed, so in theory the bounding box should then be right. Theoreticall things are usually not right in practice, but anyway. It could be worth a try. ...

Re: New map

Hey wow, nice work man. You textured all of it in a single day! Great. And yeah, texturing is a very teadious job... The urban brawl map took me 2 days. But the right textures can add so much more realism to the map!

great work! Can't wait to test it.

Re: Urban Brawl

<t>@Coffey,<br/> <br/> do you think it is possible to keep the objects within Max and rename them according to the way they are named in Plaything? e.g. &lantarn0001, &lantarn0002 etc. ? I think instances wont work, because the exported file will probably remove all instances, but I can try ...

Re: Stone Temple Pileup

That sounds like a great Idea! You could also make two or more columns inside, and make some part of the floor collaps. That way, you have the outside walls, and some interior collapsing. Maybe even a roof part... If you see what I mean.

I'm very curious to see what you come up with!

<t>Well, funny you should say that, because there is one VERY nice city track with the game. There are a couple of buildings, and a lot of destroyed stuff, very post apocaliptic as well. I was hoping to convert that one as well, allthough the new texturing will take up a lot more work. (This desert ...
