i find that the original textures look great if you reasize them and soften the shading up a bit (like what i did on the annihilator and hawk).

the only parts you have to delete are any parts referenced in the groove section of the car's .txt file.

that's the shell. make a new one in pt2 by opening the normal model, deleting the wheels AND the hook (or any other moving parts), then go to "object->flatten hiearchy" enter the new name as "shell" and save it as "carnameShell.sdf" (Carname being the name of the car ob...

it crashed for me too. but not with an error message. i did open it in pt2 though, and from what i saw there it seemed pretty cool.

the only known c2 save editor is carmasaveED (it never did work on my comp, so i don't know what to tell ya about it. but i've talked to people who said it worked well). you can find it at most c2 sites, but if you want somewhere to look, try http://wasted.polygonized.com
