I really like how the Docking Hell map is shaping up. Nice long straight-aways and open areas. The mini cop hiding among the cargo containers really cracked me up. Maybe as a random powerup but not self-repairing all the time. What if finishing a lap fully repairs the car? Anyway it should be optional as others said.

We won't know the final specs until beta is finished and the full game is ready to launch. That said, you are really screwing yourself not having a 64 bit OS.

That's why it's called an expansion pack and not a separate game. It's still a separate Carmageddon "product". I'm waiting for Songbearer's clarification or admittance of confusion before jumping up his ass about it.

That's an interesting idea, actually. It instantly reminds me of the Light side/Dark side mechanic from Jedi Knight. Being a purist I don't want Stainless wasting time developing new systems until the base game is 100% finished and ready for launch. Who's to say something like that can't be a popula...

It's funny reading such comments from Mr. Deviance when he's the admin of a forum dedicated to cracking and pirating games on Steam. What's even funnier is he's on that forum right now with a Carmageddon avatar.

Adding new gameplay mechanics for the driver inside the vehicle would only make the game frustrating. Carmageddon is about fun and insanity. It doesn't have to make sense. If Stainless wants to go in that direction at least leave it optional for the purists.
