You must extract both the injector exec and plugins folder in the root then run the injector. It will run CARM95.EXE, the one from Splat Pack.

Sure you can, rename the texture. If it's used in a material, hexedit the MAT file. Then go through the .txt and .wam files to change the texture filename every time it is referenced.

Bumping this topic reminds me that I got no followup at all from the emails I sent to the various online vg mags. Kind of disappointing. I thought that this was the kind of trivia that made good little content for side articles or whatever these days.

You change the texture filenames. Using unique prefixes is obviously the way to go: if the faulty car is named Twister2 for example, you could use "twist2_" as a prefix for all filenames, like twist2_wheel, twist2_frame, twist2_bumper, etc. Never exceed 14 characters though. Then you hex-e...

No one did, no. Barely any C1/C2 fan-made addon made it to TDR. This one in particular would be a lot of work!

You have to rename the textures..! No way around that. They all share the same "pool" so the latest texture loaded with a specific name will overwrite the previous one sharing that same name. Don't think materials work like that. If they do, they have to be renamed as well. Fun! In C1 the ...

Ah I didn't keep the little tweak. But it wasn't working too well as the texture must be appropriate for the effect. The MAT file has like 145 materials in it, how's that even possible :lol: Had a look, the model actually uses 36 materials (which is quite a lot for a C1 car). Anyway, doesn't matter much. Finally took the time to test your last four ports, just have a few remarks: - in the zip files, you placed the grid images into 32X20X8 instead of 32X20X8/PIXELMAP. - some filenames are over the 8.3 format (like MCITROMUG.FLI, CLEAVERV3.FLI/.PIX/etc) which means the DOS version might not load them....
