You can also use Bemax to get your UV-mapped car into Plaything2, it should be still about. Plaything2 is a nice tool if you can get to grips with it, also try to find the hacked version which crashes less and has some more features. Link anyone?

Re: Cops in Carmageddon II
Try Carmegedit in this page, I think it can unencrypt the files. But then you have to edit some setting to allow the game to read the unencrypted files.. I think its in the readme or something. If you have some info you'd like to share, especially about C1, perhaps you might like to write a few tuto...

Yeah like I say, I can't spell them! Thank you and cheers (for drinks).
Is it possible that you can get a license for a graphics program from school or work or something? This is sometimes the case.

Heh, all I know in dutch is dankevel and prost (spellings I'm not sure about!) Well I think Photoshop is expensive but it is very good. If you plan to actually buy it, there will be a CS3 soon so it might pay to wait. I'm not sure about free graphics editors, there is GIMP for linux (which may be av...

Re: Creating your own vinyls? (Crashday)
In that channels tab, you should see: Red Green Blue You probably must do right-click -> Add new channel, if there is no Alpha in the list. Then, click the alpha channel. You must use black, white or grey. Experiment with that and see the effects. White is opaque (can be seen fully) and black is ful...

Re: Creating your own vinyls? (Crashday)
You have the 3 usual channels (red, green and blue) and also a transparency channel called alpha. All the channels are stored in greyscale, so for example in the red channel, white means maximum red signal, greys are darker reds, and black is no red. For alpha channel, white means opaque and black i...

That sounds killer.. I think there's a quarry that could be used as one of the utilities? Also is there a nuclear power plant, or is that C1? I think I remember a C2 mission involving one.. nice idea though, and the way monopoly boards are being churned out, its one that you could actually sell too.
