<t>well anyone who tries to take a sharp turn at 100mph like it was a porsche in an olds is fucking stupid anyway .... it's not as if after a big block swap this car would be unsafe though, it would just take alot more work to make it's handling and braking performance as good as it's straight line ...

<t>don't use 305 heads, they have smaller combustion chambers, which will up your CR a bit, but they flow like crap, hardly better than the shitty heads they used on the 4.3 6's.... but putting 350 heads on a stock bottom end 305 will not livin' it up either, the bigger chambers on the 350 head will...

Re: For Deep_Blue...

no! small block=bad! listen, you need TORQUE to acclerate, and with a mild build-up, the best you could hope for with a 305 is about 295hp and say, 310ft/lbs of torque..and that wouldn't cut it for me...it's easy to get power with a big block, now i'm more familiar with mopar engines but i know the ...

Re: For Deep_Blue...

swapping to another GM small block would be the easiest thing to do, say a 327 or 350/400 from 1963 to 1971 which is when they had the most power, but it might be hard to pick up one of those 330hp '69 350's cheap...the most bang for the buck would be a 455 which you could definitely get for under a...

nice duster, i would have made one eventually but looks like you got there first...on the engine i'd say leave a 340, but if you want a street killer i'd put a tunnel ram with 2 750 demons on there Mopar Muscle did a similar engine build-up a while ago with a tunnel rammed 340 and it made 600+hp, no...

hey, don't knock the corvair, yes, the pre-65 ones tended to roll over on sharp turns if the tires wern't inflated properly, but they were ugly anyway... the '65 to '69 ones had much better styling (i think) and had a new rear suspension that replaced the old swing-axle design......

driventothestore, i would say your problem is the files in the cars zip are not extracting to their proper folders, it sounds like you're trying to put all the cars files, (tifs, act, dat etc..) into the game yourself when you don't have to....if you're using winzip, make sure the "us...
