Re: Advanced Carma2 track editing tips & tricks

Cesm: The first method sounds like I could try Quick Macros to make that for me. (The "Save noncar"-method) The invisible texture certainly will work for the cubes, no problems there. And if you make the cubes really small, there's nothing to worry about the car colliding with them... eve...

Re: Dialectocalypse project

I didn't want to change the entire layout, although that's possible, too. I wish there was a way to make the game list the cars when the "Change car"-menu is activated... it'd be better than scroll the cars one by one. After clicking on the name, the car stats would appear normally, and t...

<r>Redneck Rampage was great, I have the original and the Rides Again expansion... wonder if they're gonna make a sequel? I'd like to get the F1 Car....

There's a F1 car (the McLaren one) on Crashocalypse, but since the file is located at the cursed 'Fileplanet', I simply can't get it...

Does anyone have the file? If yes, could send it to my E-Mail? I can't wait for tweaking its physics, be quick, please? Please?

No, just resize the textures to 128x128, the mapping will not be misplaced or anything.

(Of course it will lose some details because of the resizing)

Re: Advanced Carma2 track editing tips & tricks

<t>BTW Autopilot, you can't have main body and the roof in the same shape like that. The game straightens any gaps found in the shape... so you can't model a bounding shape for a letter "U" (odd example, I know), you have to make the body in one shape, and the roof in another. If you hit a ped, it w...

Aha, the weight distribution solves that too, good. Maybe the "Car wall friction" of the surface also has an effect on it as well, but nevermind now.

I once tried fiddling the downforce, but 1000 was the biggest I tried... and since I couldn't notice much difference, I got bored and ignored it every time tweaked physics... well lets try that too.
