I just swipe the section out of the .wam file on another car that works and edit the first two texture names (the texture and the texture to use when intact- pretty much everything else I leave alone for windows.).<br/> Smashable lights, too... I swipe the section for a headlight and edit the textur...

Get Carmagedit (available on the sites that still have C1 stuff- Best thing for reskinning C1 cars. OR-make yer own C1 Cars (Brand spanking new models and skins using the available C2 editing stuff and a hex editor like I, LJ, and econo have done.. MUCHO better than just reskinning the original C1 c...
