Yeah, I watched a fair chunk of the replay of the last streaming update. It did look like they have made quite a few tweaks to the game rendering. The Eagle is really shiny and there looks like lots of over-the-top splatter FX to name a few.

Those old PC Zones are great fun to read. Didn't see the image you're looking for either but the 1997 and early 1998 issues have lots of reviews and write-ups on Carma 1 and Splat Pack.

Glass was set up to be 'smashable'. Vines and bushes were setup as passthru. Two different things.

Sure thing. Here's all three PNGs The two 180x90 for minimap and side view aren't appearing. But the 720x360 larger top view does show up when as a TDX.

I've been using Flummery's TDX converter on the PNGs. Didn't any problem with them until the update. But as long as checking off the 'Convert Textures to IMGs' works then I'm ok with that.

I guess the updated game still uses IMGs for the MiniMap and some menu screens. I finally got my Beer Wagon minimap and side view icons to appear once I checked off "Convert Textures to IMG" when packing them up.

Ha that's great. You could play around trying out different wheel sets. The default Eagle rims look a little out of place.
