Once I had similar problem, but maybe it wasn't so far away. What I did was use bubble car to fly towards him and then use electric shock powerup.

Yeah, damage and physics in alpha were more natural and sometimes more complex. I'd like to bring that back.

Yeah, I agree. i turned it on after not playing maybe for a month I thought, so great that stainless made it happen, nowadays it is rare that you see non-dumbed down sandbox game with good physics. For it like one of those good old games that you can play forever.

There is definitely auto counter steer and traction control. And yeah it would be really interesting to see how the car would handle without such helpers because the handling engine seems pretty realistic.
