All the stock maps just kinda had big rock walls as you said, mountains or water.

i've made several maps in cared cause I guess like deep blue i was too old and short of patience to try and learn some other modelling program, took me long enough to learn car ed, I remember I tried 3dsmax long ago and it was confusing as hell, think I kinda learned to texture with it for some tdr ...

Ooh man the 1930s/40s machines are super cool. I gotta see if I can get c1 working on this computro machine of mine. C2 has been a no go that ive given up completely.
Anyone figure out the c1 damage yet, are them cars uncrushable, or resemble bowls of shredded paper documents after they hit something?

c2 sorta works on mine.. glide wrapper wont really work (no surprise there), direct 3d is a go, everything works but the sound.

Thats just so sick, cant wait to see the car texture! I remember Berocs hearse for TDR had a really cool looking skin, the blueish colored rusty one (I wasnt too keen with the bullet holes though!)

The 'yellow' car was a fiat, I think a 128 model and I cant remember whom made it, but the dented body textures didnt look all that realistic, that being said unless you're quite an artist and you can arrange the mesh so it bends where the dents in the texture would be I wouldnt really waste your ti...

Avoid compaq like your very life depends on it, they SUCK, I mean suck! Mine cant even run c2 without overheating and randomly powering off. I really need a new machino yet im not much keen on spending more than $200 on a stupid computer?
