I figured it out, I had to make dgvoodoo2 emulate "other greater" voodoo card and maxed the memory out.
Just a request, Can we sticky a thread discussing ways to make Carmageddon 2 run right on win10?
I just imagine others been having problems like this.

Carmageddon 2 fps stutter
My copy of carmageddon 2 (steam) and the vanilla c2 mini pack has dips in the fps that are jarring I installed the super patch v3, tried nglide, then latest dgvoodoo, and then the old dg voodoo 1.50 beta. my computer is i7 9700f rtx 2080 super 64gb of ram and a whole lot of drive space. perhaps its ...

is there an alternative to cared that's free???
I've finally had it with cared, there is too much little bugs that actually trip me up to the point of a corrupt model. Anyway I've mentioned trying to convert from blender but it never works. I tried every tool. Should I just save up for a thing like 3ds max? its like they have the file association...

changing from 32bit color to 16bit through shortcut command?
Yeah, I wonder if there is a way to do that through a short cut command so I dont have to trudge through more and more buttons in windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and the planned 666 "death to functionality and anything remotely useful" edition (sorry for the lame joke, thats the summer heat frustrer...

Hiding and showing objects in plaything?
Texturing precisely looks so hard even in cesm plaything2, especially when trying to goof around with another addon car, and trying to reapply the textures. So can you hide something thats in the way of the desired object which you want to texture? Edit: also I think some textures that even came wit...

4K Carmageddon 2?
Hi I knew its been attempted and done on carma reincarnation, (oddly it doesnt work on my 3 screen setup and I have a nvidia gtx670) so I tried this with carma2 with the newest version of dgvoodoo 2, and everything is wide in a horrifically silly way. so my question is, is there a way to have a hack...

Re: A work around for compiling models
well the first pic I had to flip it back just to show you how it looks like on the road, before I export it I flip the pitch up 90 degrees for the carma axis. and when it goes in 3ds max, the front and back get squished. I dunno All this seems like a silly fluke, and probably a grouping issue. I'll ...

Alright I get too eager with my test models, thats why I texture late,
I'll export finished this time, dont know what I'm going to do to get 3dsmax2 to have regular shapes rather than what its doing now.

Re: A work around for compiling models
It's blank, nothing is there, not even an error. but I have a clue to some things.
I get a success message, but it says "some parts were ignored"
and when I put a 3ds from blender into 3dsmax2 it shows up distorted in the 3d window.
oh yeah, and I dont texture it before I put it in ase2asc.

Hi I posted this in the noobs section, because Cared refuses to work due to fantastic improving technology (HAHAHAHAHA!!!!) I would like to know if there is a way I could compile c2 things manually. Hey, I dont go to the carmageddon forum much, just here, so Im bound
to miss a sticky thread...
Can I back up the whole game content file of C:R just incase I screwup modding the current version? You know, reinstalling C:R sounds like a nightmare.
