THE MAY UPDATE UPDATE (UPDATED)!!
Great update Stainless, thanks for all the hard work. Runs a lot better and finally having a proper play on it with a lowish spec laptop

One small thing that's bugging me though - when your cars wrecked, you can't recover it. Annoying for when the car's rolled over or in the sea and you wan...

Should the AI be able to repair themselves?
Definitley would like to be able to switch it off if it is implemented.
Maybe if the seriously crippled AI car hasn't moved atleast XXmetres and hasnt gone at XXmph within a certain time frame, it recieves a 10/15% repair, just to help it.

...or perhaps their driver could jump out their...

Re: Big Van Bangers
I think the version 1 'beta' was released in 1999. At the time, the most popular car to use was a Mk2 Ford Granada - needless to say there aren't too many left now. Stronger, faster, and more easily available cars such as Ford Scorpios, Lexus', Vauxhall Omegas, Volvo 7/900's, Newer Jaguars, Mercedes...

Old Carmageddon Site
Hey all, Doing a little project and this is gunna be a bit of a long shot and will probably sound a bit vague, but does anyone remember an old Carmageddon site that hosted a range of mods that had a dark red background? I remember it hosting a range of files for mods, and in particular SoD v1 or 2, ...

Who mods? What's your plans?
Really want to see if cars can damage realisticly. Making a Banger Racing mod would be a dream goal.
Modelled plenty of decent quality Bangers in 3dsMax for another game, so i'm curious to see how they'd wreck in C:R
1 week to go! :D

Pop culture references ?
Hopefully they'll be a bit more creative and won't pack it with memes and other internet references. All that stuff is funny for about a minute unless you're 12. Having it in Carmageddon, or any game, is just wrong

Real Carma Cars!!
The pics in the first post are from the old banger racing track in Worthing! Cool!
Freddys total banger conversion (SoD) of Carma 2 was brilliant, played it for days on end when I was younger :)
How awesome would it be if the new game had a realistic damage engine similar to C2!

.3DS to .ASC converter help?
Hi, don't post on here much really, but i've just had a sudden motivation to try to make tracks again. I've got some ingame before by using sketchup to get a .3ds file then converting it to .asc using the .3ds to .asc converter. Recently, i've loaded up the .3ds to .asc converter and nothing is clic...
