I've been slicing Peds in half to unlock the S&M Skin for the Countslash, but I hit the target and finished the challenge, and it's still locked. Is there any way to manually make it unlocked, or force the game to register the challenge completed?

Well now it's crashing when I try to delete parts from the model. It's running in compatibility mode for Windows 98 and in Administrator mode.

I think that it should be on steam, but not exclusively. They won't lose my sale if it is exclusive, but I would very much like it not to be. Maybe they could do something with GoG.com, like the guys who made Witcher did. (meaning no DRM, but still full price)

I think this would work great. You could buy the wreckage of your opponent, and you make your own custom death machine, or just use all the parts from the car you bought to make the car you bought, if you want one specific car.
